To add a new scan, Select a Patient record >> Scan Document >> Create New Button. Enter Date, Choose Episode, Choose category and enter Description. Scans can be categorised into various areas so that they can be found and viewed more easily.
Scan Settings leads to Select Scanner Device window. Select the Scanner device & its type, which is attached to your system, Select DPI range & Save the settings. Scan tab, leads to the scan page where you can change the number, size & orientation, and then Save.
There is another area to do multiple patient scanning. This is detailed in the Scan tray section.
Quick Scan is where you can scan and add the document directly. Enter the Date, Choose an Episode and category and enter the Description and click Quick Scan. The scanned document can be reviewed in an pdf format by double clicking it.
Search and Select the Scan Document, which need to be edited. Select Edit tab in the actions menu, which leads to the Edit Scan Document page. Change the required fields in the Edit Scan Document page, and Click Save to update the changes.
Search and Select the Scan Document, which need to be deleted. Select Delete tab in the actions menu dropdown, which leads to the Delete Scan Document confirmation page. Click Delete, which deletes the selected Scan Document.
Once documents are saved, they can be faxed. Search and Select the Scan Document, which need to be sent by fax. Select Fax tab in the actions menu drop down, which leads to the Send Fax page. Enter all the data and Select Fax tab, to fax the selected Scan Document.
Search and Select the Scan Document, which need to be sent by Mail. Select Mail tab in the actions menu, which leads to the Send Mail page. Select add button, to create a mail favourite in the Add Mail Favourite page or Select from the already available Mail Favourites created in the Settings Module. Enter all the data and Select Send tab, to send the selected document by mail.
Select Upload tab in the actions menu drop down, which leads to the Add Scan Document page. In this page, instead of adding document by scanning, you can upload document which is already available in your system in pdf format. When all the data are entered & uploaded, Select Save to add a new scan document with an uploaded file. The newly created Scan Document is listed in the Scan Document page.
Search and Select the Scan Document, which need to be downloaded. Double Click on the selection, opens the document for review, download and printing or Select Download tab in the actions menu drop down. You can review the Scan Document in this page, and download it to your system or print it.
