Doctor Category

Use the Doctor Category to define the category in which a physician can be categorized, besed on their registration numbers in various institutes or insurance companies. Select Doctor Category from the Doctor Details roll out, to open the Doctor Category Page.

How to create a Doctor Category?

Select Create tab in the actions menu, which leads to the Add Doctor category Page. Enter the doctor category name, set default, if it is default category and then Click Save to add and list the new doctor category.

How to edit a Doctor Category?

Search and Select the Doctor Category, which need to be edited. Double click the selected Doctor Category, or Select Edit tab in the actions menu, which leads to the Edit Doctor Category page. Change the Doctor Category name, check or uncheck Default and Click Save to update the changes.

How to delete a Doctor Category?

To delete a doctor category from your connection, select the record and choose Delete icon, a window pop-ups prompting whether to delete the entry. Click OK to delete the record. Only unused doctor category can be deleted. If the doctor category is in use, the system will not allow you to delete the record.

How to archive a Doctor Category?

Select a doctor category from your connection and choose Archive from the actions drop down to hide the doctor category from iMedDoc Selection list. Similarly a Doctor Category can be Unarchived by Selecting the archived Doctor Category & Click Unarchive tab in the actions menu drop down. This will restore the Doctor Category available for Selection.

Use Doctor module to add and mange consultant’s contact details along with their speciality. Also specify the category of the consultant’s practice. Select Doctor from the Doctor Details roll out, to open the Doctor Page.

How to create a Doctor?

To add a Doctor, Click on Create New button in the Doctor page. Enter Doctor's name, short name and speciality which are required to add the Doctor, enter the contact details then click Save to add the doctor to iMedDoc. Doctor's list will be used throughout the software in different areas like Patients, Appointments, Surgeries and Accounts.

How to edit a Doctor?

To edit the Doctor, find the doctor from the list, select the record and choose edit icon or double click the record. You will see the same screen as Add Doctor and edit any of the fields and click Save to save changes.

How to delete a Doctor?
