Any user with administrative rights may add a custom appointment type. This helps to categorize your appointments, which can be easily identifiable.

Create Appointment Description

Click Create New, which opens the Add Appointment Description page. Type in your custom appointment Description into the field labelled name for appointment Description, An administrator can also select a default appointment Description by enabling the checkbox. Your default appointment description will be automatically be selected whenever your practice schedules an appointment.

You can also customize your appointment Description for all doctors. You can add Doctor by choosing Doctor name, Color, Duration and Rate. If you have selected to color code the schedule by appointment description, select a color for that type. Set the duration and Rate and select Save button to add the record. Double click the entry or click edit icon to edit the values. You can remove the added Doctor using delete button. When all the required fields are filled, Select Save.

Edit Appointment Description

To edit the Appointment Description, find the appointment Description from the list, select the record and choose edit icon or double click the record. You will see the Edit Appointment Description page and change any of the fields and click Save to save changes.

Delete Appointment Description

To delete an Appointment Description from your connection, select the record and choose Delete icon, a window pop-ups prompting whether to delete the entry. Click OK to delete the Appointment Description. Only unused Appointment Description can be deleted. If an Appointment Description is in use, the system will not allow you to delete the record.

Archive Appointment Description

Select an Appointment Description from your connection and choose Archive from the actions drop down to hide the Appointment Description from iMedDoc Selection list. Similarly an Appointment Description can be Unarchived by Selecting the archived Appointment Description & Click Unarchive tab in the actions menu drop down. This will restore the Appointment Description available for Selection.

Appointment Block

You can make use of the Appointment Block feature to indicate when your practice is closed at lunch, to show a vacation day for only one provider, or to show that a provider does not work on a certain day of the week.

The block that is put in place is a way to indicate that there is a block set in that particular time slot to be aware of. Description will be displayed over the block to see what type of block it is. Appointment Block allow your practice to designate office hours in the Settings section, while blocking your specified lunch hour, vacation day, or out of office.

Create Appointment Block

To add an Appointment Block, Click Create New button in the top right corner. Enter the name, Select Doctor, Click on the Date and time slot during which you'd like to schedule the block which are required to save the Appointment Block. If you want to color code the schedule of appointment block, select a color for that type and click Save button. The Appointment Block is then added to the List.

Edit Appointment Block

To edit an Appointment Block, find the record from the list and choose edit icon or double click the record. You will see Edit Appointment Block page and change any of the fields and click Save to save changes.

Delete Appointment Block

To delete an Appointment Block, select the record and choose Delete icon, a window pop-ups prompting whether to delete the entry. Click OK to delete the Apppointment Block. Only unused Appointment Blocks can be deleted. If an Appointment Block is in use, the system will not allow you to delete the record.

Archive Appointment Block

Select an Appointment Block from your connection and choose Archive from the actions drop down to hide the Appointment Block from iMedDoc Selection list. Similarly an Appointment Block can be Unarchived by Selecting the archived Appointment Block & Click Unarchive tab in the actions menu drop down. This will restore the Appointment Block active.

Workflow Step

This module is used to define a workflow for calendar functionality. You can define a single workflow for all type of appointments/ surgeries, consultants,and location. You can also define separate workflow for each consutlant for various location.

Create Workflow Step

To add workflow, click Create New, Choose workflow type as either appointment or surgery. Based on the workflow type select multiple appointment types or procedure from the list. Check the steps to be followed from list for this work flow. Click Admission Details tab to set default admission or appointment letter. If you want to set each user a different template, Click + icon, choose doctor, location, designed templates or pre-defined static PDF. Similarly, in the SMS Details page, you can set templates for SMS.

Edit workflow Step

Select a workflow, and click on Edit make the necessary changes in the workflow and click on Update to update the changes done with workflow.

Delete Workflow Step

Select a workflow and click on Delete, a window pop-ups prompting whether to delete the entry click on OK to delete the workflow. If the workflow is linked to any patient, iMedDoc will not allow you to delete the workflow.
